Thales to sponsor 2025 airshow

We're pleased to confirm that Thales will sponsor this year's International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight!

Thales is a global technology leader with more than 83,000 employees in 68 countries - including a location in Glasgow - operating in the defence, aerospace and space, cyber and digital sectors.

Thales' contributions to technology in the aerospace industry include avionics, in-flight entertainment and connectivity, air traffic management, and training and simulation systems. Two out of three aircraft in the world take off and land using Thales equipment, and air traffic control centres equipped by Thales account for more than 40% of the world's airspace.

Following on from the success of the airshow in 2023 and 2024, Thales have chosen to lend their support to this year's event.

The airshow is an event which aims to promote innovations in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and inspire an interest in this sector amongst young people.
