Diving

Published: 16 September 2025

With the new school term well underway, we're taking a look back at the fantastic activities our Sport and Leisure and Thriving Communities - Health and Wellbeing team delivered during the summer break.

Our Sport and Leisure team provided more than 100 activity sessions that were attended by over 2,500 children and young people.

These sessions included swimming; gymnastics camps; sports camps; diving classes; bounce and play sessions and an inflatable fun run. All of the activities provided an opportunity for personal growth, and for the young people to develop new skills and make new friends.

Our Thriving Communities - Health and Wellbeing team also delivered a remarkable 305 sport sessions to over 1500 children and young people and included activities such as volleyball, cycling, football and golf.

27 of these sessions were delivered from Dolphin House, South Ayrshire Council's Outdoor Education Centre, and included paddlesport, sensory ASN sessions, residential programmes and day visits.
