Provost Officially Opens Refurbished RAF Museum in Prestwick

South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell and Lord Lieutenant Iona McDonald officially opened the newly refurbished RAF 'Jane Pollock' Museum in Prestwick on Thursday 2 July.

The works undertaken were funded thanks to the generous legacy of Jane Pollock and enabled the RAF Ayr and Prestwick Branch to successfully refurbish the museum to enhance the exhibits on display.

Provost Campbell and Lord Lieutenant McDonald marked the official opening by cutting the ribbon with Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick also in attendance to mark this momentous occasion.
