It's almost time for take-off! 2025 Airshow Display Schedule Announced
With less than a week to go until South Ayrshire's biggest event of the year, we're excited to announce the 2025 display schedules for both Friday 5 and Saturday 6 September - now with even more aircraft displays confirmed!
Friday night's flying display schedule is set to take-off from 6:25pm and with the final display taking to the skies at 8:25pm.*
On Friday night you can expect dazzling aerial displays from a variety of iconic aircraft including our headline displays, the magnificent Red Arrows and RAF Typhoon.
Plus, making their debut appearance at the International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight on Friday night will be the French Aerobatic Team known as the Équipe de Voltige de l'Armée de l'Air (EVAA). The five-time world champions will showcase their expertise in the air by performing inversions, flips, loops, turns and barrel rolls.
In addition to the fabulous displays we have already confirmed, we're pleased to announce some further exciting additions to the flying display programme. These include the Yak52, the Cassutt Racer, and the Douglas A-26 Invader.
On Saturday 6 September the excitement continues with another action-packed display schedule where you can direct your eyes to the skies from 1:30pm until 5:30pm when the final display will take flight.*
Saturday's extensive display schedule includes The RAF Falcons, the UK's premier military parachute display team, who will descend and land into the 'drop zone' on Ayr's Low Green. Following this, the team will be present in the STEM marquee where you can watch them pack up their parachutes and show how their canopies are deployed.
Visitors to the festival on Saturday can also expect to see a range of fantastic international displays including those from the Royal Canadian Airforce CC130JHercules, the United States Air Force C130J Super Hercules, and the previously mentioned Douglas A-26 Invader.
The 2025 International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight will also see an incredible static display on Ayr's Low Green of the Belgian Air Force Agusta A109BA. Visitors can get up close and meet the amazing team who operate this fantastic helicopter.

The display schedule and information about the aircraft taking part on both days will be detailed in our event programme which will be available to purchase from the Destination South Ayrshire marquee at the festival village for £5.
In addition to the phenomenal aerial displays, the festival has fun for all the family to enjoy including some fantastic entertainment within the Festival Village.
From a thrilling funfair**, abseiling wall and children's entertainment to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) zone, military village, and aircraft simulator, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.
If the weekend has you feeling a bit peckish and thirsty, you can explore a range of delicious food and drink vendors which will be open for the duration of the festival.
The Festival Village opening times are as follows:
- Friday 5 September - 4pm - 8:30pm (the funfair is open until 9:30pm)
- Saturday 6 September - 12noon - 6pm (the funfair is open until 7.30pm)
