International Workers Memorial Day Marked with Special Service at Rozelle

International Workers Memorial Day took place today, Tuesday 28 April, and commemorates all workers who have lost their lives to workplace illness or injury.

This global initiative is an opportunity to promote health and safety and minimise workplace incidents, many of which are preventable.

A floral tribute was laid at a memorial bench within Rozelle Park to mark the day.
