Diamond Wedding Celebrations for William and Helen

William and Helen Taylor recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary.

William, originally from Trabboch, and Helen, originally from Springburn, met on holiday in Ostend, Belgium in August 1964. The couple then married in October 1965 at Colston Church in Glasgow and have two children, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The pair now live happily in Coylton where they were visited by Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick who congratulated them on their anniversary and presented them with an engraved glass paperweight to mark the occasion.
