Diamond Wedding Celebrations for James and Maureen

James and Maureen McKee recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary.

James, originally from Kilwinning, met Maureen in her hometown of Kilmarnock where the couple also got married at Henderson Church.

The couple now live happily in Ayr and have two daughters, Carol and Christine, and three grandchildren Barney, Lewis and Kirsty.

Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited the couple at their home to congratulate them on their anniversary and present them with a bouquet of flowers.
