Diamond Wedding Celebrations for David and Maureen

David and Maureen McMath recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding anniversary.

David, originally from Hollybush, and Maureen from Waterside, met while on the bus travelling to Ayr. The couple then married at Ayr Registry Office and have four children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The pair now live happily in Ayr where they were visited by Provost Iain Campbell and Deputy Lieutenant Nigel Martin who congratulated them on their anniversary and presented them with a bouquet of flowers to mark the occasion.
