The annual competition run by Fort, Seafield & Wallacetown Community Council and supported by Ayr Guildry and the Rotary Club of Ayr, provides an opportunity to recognise local businesses and the fantastic efforts they go to during the festive period.
The judging panel consisted of Denise Sommerville, Chair of Fort, Seafield & Wallacetown Community Council, Michael Hitchon MBE, Treasurer of Ayr Guildry and Bob Cherry, Secretary of the Rotary Club of Ayr.
Depute Provost assisted in presenting the winner's trophy to Wallflowers of Dalblair Road whose winning display was the creation of staff member Naomi Cox. The runner up trophy was presented to Olga's Alterations of Newmarket Street. SeaScape in Ayr Central and Cash Convertors in High Street also impressed the judging panel and received Highly Commended certificates.
