Council confirms dates for 2026 airshow

Hot off the back of last weekend's sensational event, South Ayrshire Council has confirmed that the International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight will return next year.  

The festival will take place at Ayr shorefront on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2026.

And what will be the council's fourth consecutive airshow is set to thrill once again - with tremendous aerial displays and a whole host of activities and entertainment covering the length and breadth of the Low Green to look forward to.

South Ayrshire Council's Director of Communities and Transformation, Jane Bradley said: "Last weekend's airshow was yet another spectacular event.  It drew in massive crowds of over 260,000 over the two days, which was wonderful to see.  The aerial displays were magnificent and the entertainment offering at the Festival Village was outstanding - there really was something for everyone to enjoy.  So, we're most definitely geared up to do it all again next year."
