Celebrating 65 Years of Marriage for Thomas and Margaret

Thomas and Margaret Bonnes recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
Both originally from Whitburn, Thomas and Margaret first met when they were placed in the same class at Primary School.
The couple married at Whitburn South Church and have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
South Ayrshire Council's Provost Iain Campbell and Deputy Lieutenant Bill Stafford visited the couple at their home in Dundonald to congratulate them on this milestone known as their 'Blue Sapphire Anniversary' and present them with a bouquet of flowers.
