Equally Safe
The Scottish Government has published Scotland's strategy for preventing and eradicating violence against women and girls - Equally Safe - Scotland's strategy for preventing and eradicating violence against women and girls. This strategy has been developed by the Scottish Government and CoSLA with inputs from a wide range of partners including Scottish Women's Aid, Rape Crisis, Police Scotland and Health Scotland.
Equally Safe is a strategic framework that has been developed to help organisations and partners align work with one shared goal 'a strong, flourishing Scotland where women and girls live free from violence and the attitudes that help perpetuate it' whilst contributing to the Scottish Government Strategic objectives.

Our vision is to ensure all women and girls in South Ayrshire are Safe, Respected and Empowered and live in communities that are Informed; and reject all forms of violence against women and girls.
