South Ayrshire Council Finalists in Two Categories at Chartered Institute of Housing Awards

South Ayrshire Council is a finalist in two categories at the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Scotland Housing Awards 2025. 

The Council has been nominated in the "Housing-Led Approaches to Ending Homelessness" category for our Housing First Service, which focuses on providing individuals experiencing homelessness with immediate access to permanent housing alongside tailored support.

Our first Housing Modern Apprentice, Amy Cooper, has also been nominated in the "Apprentice of the Year" category. Amy was the Council's first ever Housing Modern Apprentice to start her career through our Thriving Communities - Employability team in 2024. 

The CIH Scotland Housing Awards celebrate the creativity, passion and innovation of housing organisations and professionals across the country. Winners will be announced in a ceremony on Friday 14 November 2025.
