HSCP Adult Carers Strategy Consultation

Adult Carers Survey Consultation

South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) are refreshing our Adult Carers Strategy and are now able to share a consultation draft. The draft can be found [here]

The Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 sets out a legislative basis for supporting Carers. South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership is delivering this locally on behalf of the Integration Joint Board. This continuing approach has enabled the HSCP to set clear, ambitious objectives to support adult Carers while ensuring adaptability and stability in a constantly evolving environment.

This refresh provides an opportunity to reflect on the progress we've made and the outcomes we've achieved since the strategy was first introduced in 2019. It also outlines our updated direction for delivering our vision and priorities for adult Carers in South Ayrshire.

The draft has been shaped by engagement with staff, partners, Carers, and the wider community across South Ayrshire.

To ensure your views are reflected in the final strategy, we are sharing this draft widely for feedback. Please share your comments by following the link below or via email by Friday 5th September 2025.
