Girvan and South Carrick capital projects

Completed projects in Girvan and South Carrick include: 

• A new Merchant Navy and Seafarers memorial has been installed at Girvan Harbour
• The Knockcushan Street Community Garden bird aviary has been upgraded
• A new deer-proof fence was installed at Bynehill Cemetery
• Ballantrae's Ardstinchar Bridge has been reopened to cyclists and pedestrians*
• Benches have been installed in Colmonell Community Garden 
• Improvement works at the War Memorial at Heronsford
• Works to improve accessibility at the carpark to the rear of Dailly Primary 
• Resurfacing and upgrades to the tennis courts at Ballantrae 
• Repairs to the Girvan boating pond 
• New windsocks installed at Girvan and Lendalfoot beaches
