Provost and Depute attend Remembrance Day Services on Sunday 10 November

South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell and Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick attended services on Sunday 10 November to mark Remembrance Day.

Provost Campbell visited Troon, where he took part in the parade from Troon Primary School to the Cenotaph at the Seafront.  He took part in the Act of Remembrance, laying a wreath at the monument, and gave a reading in the Troon Old Parish Church.

He then continued on to Fisherton Cemetery in Dunure, where he also laid a wreath.

Depute Provost Kilpatrick attended a service at Ayr's Auld Kirk to give a reading. She then joined the parade to the Cenotaph in Wellington Square where she laid a wreath. Depute Provost Kilpatrick then rejoined the parade to the Scots Guards Memorial in St Germain-En-Laye Gardens for the Act of Remembrance, and also laid a wreath at the War Memorial.
