Provost congratulates Prestmas School Christmas Poster Competition winners and runners-up

South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell was invited by the organisers of Prestmas to present awards to the winners and runners-up of their School Christmas Poster Competition.

Prestwick Primary Schools take part in this annual competition, and this year they received 500 entries!

There were 8 runners-up from Glenburn Primary School, 6 from St. Ninians Primary School, 9 from Kingcase Primary School and 5 from Heathfield Primary School.  The overall winner of the competition was Viviana Street, a Primary 6 pupil at Heathfield Primary.  She will ride with Santa on the fire engine to help him switch on the Christmas Lights at Prestmas 2024 on Sunday 24 November.
