Diamond Wedding Celebrations for Victor and Elizabeth

Victor and Elizabeth Sproat recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.

Victor and Elizabeth, both from Ayr, met at Newton Academy School. They married at Darlington Church in Ayr, and still live happily in the town where they met. The couple have four children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick congratulated the couple on their anniversary and presented them with an engraved glass paperweight.
