Provost raises flag for Commonwealth Day

South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell raised the Commonwealth flag outside of County Buildings, Ayr this morning to mark Commonwealth Day 2024.

Provost Campbell opened the flag raising ceremony with a speech before Lord Lieutenant Iona McDonald read the Commonwealth message from His Majesty King Charles III and Councillor Martin Dowey, Leader of South Ayrshire Council read the Commonwealth Affirmation.
