South Ayrshire Council makes donation to Teenage Cancer Trust
South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell welcomed representatives from Teenage Cancer Trust to County Buildings, Ayr on Wednesday 14 February to accept a donation from one of the Council's charitable schemes.
Teenage Cancer Trust is a UK charity offering support to people aged 13-24 who have been diagnosed with cancer. They fund specialised nurses, youth workers, and dedicated hospital units in the NHS to support young people through treatment.
They also run events for young people with cancer to help them regain independence and meet other young people with similar circumstances.
