Diamond Wedding Celebrations for Alex and Marion

Alex and Marion Cairns recently celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary.

Alex and Marion are both from Ayr, and Alex is a former South Ayrshire Council Councillor. They met in the Bobby Jones Dance Hall and married at the Holy Trinity Church in Ayr. The couple celebrated the milestone at Forehill Bowling Club surrounded by family.

Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited Alex and Marion to congratulate them on their anniversary and presented them with a bouquet of flowers.
