65th Wedding Anniversary celebrations for Gerry and Margaret

Robert Gerald "Gerry" Scobie and Margaret Scobie recently celebrated their Blue Sapphire wedding anniversary.

Gerry, who is originally from Dailly, and Margaret from Girvan met and married in Girvan. After 65 years of marriage, they now have 6 children, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren and live happily in Dailly.

Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited their home on Tuesday 28 February to congratulate the couple and present them with a bouquet of flowers.
