PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment)
Thriving Communities offers support to individuals and businesses facing redundancy through the Scottish Government's PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment) programme.
We work closely with partners in the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Skills Development Scotland to deliver this project and help get you back into employment. Or, if you're looking to start a new venture of your own, we can link you in with Business Gateway.
We will provide you with a dedicated Thriving Communities Officer who will guide you through the programme tailored to your needs. Support may include job brokerage; work placements; confidence building; group sessions; developing your work readiness skills; personal development; literacy support; vocational tasters; and digital skills training.
We know that facing redundancy can be a stressful time. We can refer you to different services to help you cope with the stress, such as a health and wellbeing service. Our Information and Advice Hub is ready to help you with benefits, money and debt advice.
If you're facing redundancy, or have been made redundant, and would like more information or to engage with the PACE programme.
