PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment)

Thriving Communities offers support to individuals and businesses facing redundancy through the Scottish Government's PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment) programme.

Thriving Communities work closely with partners in the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS) to deliver this offer and help get residents of South Ayrshire back into employment. Or, if residents are looking to start a new venture of their own, Thriving Communities can put you intouch with colleagues in Business Gateway.

Thriving Communities Officer provide tailored support that may include job brokerage; work placements; confidence building; group sessions; developing work readiness skills; personal development; literacy support; vocational tasters; and digital skills training.

The team know that facing redundancy can be a stressful time. Thriving Communities can refer individuals to different services for support, such as a health and wellbeing service. SAC Information and Advice Hub can provide support with money and debt advice.
