Housing land audit

The housing land audit is an annual snapshot tool for reviewing and monitoring the availability and delivery of housing land relative to the adopted development plan. The latest housing land audit was published in November 2023 with an audit base date of 1^st April 2023. It accounts for all current housing sites in South Ayrshire with a capacity of 4+ dwelling units. 

Through consultation the 2023 housing land audit has been agreed with industry organisation Homes for Scotland (HFS) subject to declaring numerous site-specific disputes raised by HFS. These formal disputes (and outstanding comments) are itemised in Table 6 at page 10 of the 2023 audit document.
