Report a breach of planning control

If you think there's building works going on without permission, you can report this online.

Please Note: The Planning Service currently has a short term reduction in available staff and there may be a resultant delay in the processing of your application/enquiry. If calling in, we may not be able to take your call - please leave a voicemail and we will return your call. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and can assure you that our team are working hard to process cases and enquiries as quickly as possible.

Reporting unauthorised works

If you have any concerns that work(s) are being potentially being undertaken without required consent, you can find planning applications, and their outcome online. 

Search planning applications

If you are unable to locate any related consent for the works, you can report this online. 

Use this form to report:

  • work carried out without planning permission
  • a change of use without permission
  • non-compliance to conditions of permission or consent
  • work to protected trees
