The Robert Burns Humanitarians
Information on the current and previous winners.
Since its formation in 2002, the Robert Burns Humanitarian Award has recognised the dedication, celebrated the selflessness and paid tribute to the sacrifice of each recipient of the award - all exceptional people with incredible stories to tell.
The 2026 winner of the Robert Burns Humanitarian Award, our 25th winner is Osas Aizeyosabor Agho. On receiving the 2026 title, Osas said "Being named the 2026 Robert Burns Humanitarian Award recipient is a deeply meaningful and humbling honour. What makes this recognition especially significant to me is the integrity behind it and the values it upholds: justice, equality, and the dignity of ordinary people, which Robert Burns championed with rare moral clarity." "I accept this award with gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility to continue serving humanity with integrity, dignity, and accountability, particularly in the most complex and demanding humanitarian contexts"
