This form is a means to express your sympathies on the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

We have a responsibility to ensure we handle your personal information in line with the relevant data protection legislation, and that’s a responsibility we take very seriously. We will use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data and we will only share your information with the Royal Household. Books of Condolence are essentially a local record of the sentiments expressed by local people on the death of a national figure. These books will either form part of the council’s archive, or on occasions form part of the Royal Archives. Books of Condolences may be kept indefinitely as they are stored for reasons of historic interest and so that future generations are able to gain access to them and find out the way in which national events were marked in the area.
