What will my child do whilst at the Holiday Club?

South Ayrshire Council Childcare Service's aim to deliver high quality childcare which supports children to be happy, make friends and develop skills for life.

We want your child to enjoy their time with us and will consult with them as they join the clubs. If there is anything in particular that you think we could provide or a specific interest your child has please let us know.

Dundonald and Dalmilling Summer Holiday Club

We recognise that during school holidays children in our care want to have fun, play with their friends, learn new skills, be creative and active.

We will consult with children and families to create a programme of activities, opportunities and experiences for the summer holidays. We want to find out what children are interested in and what matters to them. Reviewing and reflecting weekly will help us provide activities and opportunities that are relevant and meaningful.

We will still provide a daily routine such as snacks and lunch along with fresh air, outdoor play and experiences in the community.

How do I book a place at the holiday club?

Places for the Summer Holiday Club are very limited, if you are looking to book a space please contact

Please Note: Making an application does not guarantee a place.  Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Confirmation of availability, charges and how to pay will be sent to you via email.

Where our services are full a waiting list will apply.

Our services will operate with a minimum of 10 bookings. If we are unable to operate a service due to insufficient bookings we will give you 7 days' notice and we will offer to transfer your booking to another South Ayrshire Council service, where operating or provide a refund.

Will I need to provide lunch and snack for my child?

Yes. Please provide your child with a healthy packed lunch and 2 healthy snacks and drinks for the morning and/or afternoon depending on your bookings. Please ask staff for information on healthy snacks and lunches.
