Housing Team Recognised at National Awards

South Ayrshire Council's Your Choice Lettings and Property Management service was a finalist at this year's SHARE National Good Practice Awards, having been shortlisted in the Excellence in Property Management category.

Although the team did not claim top spot on the night, they were the only local authority nominated in this category which is a significant achievement.

Part of the Council's Housing Strategy and Regeneration Team, the Your Choice service was launched in 2021 to match private landlords and tenants across South Ayrshire. With a focus on quality, affordability, and tenant security, it plays a key role in improving housing and helping to prevent homelessness in the private rented sector.

The SHARE nomination reflects the dedication and innovation demonstrated by the Your Choice team, who go above and beyond to support both landlords and tenants.
