8 May commemorates 75 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe. Millions of people took to the streets to celebrate peace, mourn their loved ones and hope for the future.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, pre-arranged VE Day celebratory events have been cancelled. To commemorate the 75th anniversary, we have organised a range of virtual coverage throughout the day across our social media channels.
