The Heads of Planning Scotland has produced a guidance note on the national standards for the validation of planning and other related consents in Scotland. This is a best practice guide and is a useful resource for understanding the information that should accompany applications. This document is available to view at
Heads of Planning Scotland.
Whilst you can still submit your planning application using a paper form, please
be aware that it will take longer for your application to be received and validated.
