South Ayrshire Local Access Forum

As a duty under the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, the Council has established a South Ayrshire Local Access Forum. Its primary function is to advise the Council or any other party on access issues such as core paths planning, access exemptions and the exercising of access rights. The Forum consists of 16 members who comprises a reasonable representation of individuals and bodies with an interest in outdoor access including, land managers, recreational users and public bodies.

South Ayrshire Local Access Forum AGM

The South Ayrshire Local Access Forum will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 21st May 2019 at 5.30pm-7.30pm in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, Ayr. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Members of the public who wish to attend are asked to inform the access officer, at rachel.shipley@south-ayrshire.gov.uk or 01292 616426, to facilitate administration and venue arrangements for the meeting.
