From Monday 13 April, South Ayrshire Council will operate an uplift of brown wheeled bins on scheduled collection days, as per bin calendars.
Wheeled bins should be out, ready for collection the night before they are due, or at the latest, before 5:45am on the collection day. All garden waste should be in bins, as side waste won't be collected.
The council will continue to collect brown bins as normal, however services are subject to change. The most up to date information can be found on the website www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk
Councillor Ian Cochrane, Environment Portfolio Holder for South Ayrshire Council said: "These are difficult times and it's been impossible for all Council services to run as normal. However, thanks to the hard work and dedication of staff, we are able to keep vital services such as waste collections going.
"I think it's essential for health and wellbeing that people can get out in their garden if possible, so uplifting their garden waste is important. I would encourage everyone to keep checking the Council website for the latest information on services."
