Workshops cost £5 per adult, accompanied children 16 years and under can attend for free. Numbers are limited, so purchase your ticket soon at Rozelle House or phone 01292 445 447 option 5 during office hours (10:00am-5:00pm Mon-Sat and 12noon-5:00pm Sunday)

Day o' the Dames launches South Ayrshire Council's participation in Festival of Museums, and is based around the fantastic 'Back to the Gaiety' exhibition.

Running from 19 May - 17 June, this exhibition features the work of community archivists and volunteers who have been researching the history of The Gaiety Theatre. The exhibition shares their finds and takes you on a journey through their new digital archive.

Councillor Brian McGinley, Economic Development, Tourism and Leisure Portfolio Holder for the Council said: "We're committed to ensuring that arts and culture are accessible to as many people as possible. There's lots going on as part of the Festival of Museums, so I'm sure it will have wide appeal as we celebrate the artistic diversity of South Ayrshire."
