Everyone welcome regardless of age at our Friday fortnightly health walk. All walks last roughly 1 hour and are coastal and town routes. We meet at Duff Street, Age Concern in Girvan and all our walks are leader led. After the walk we have teas and coffees back at the centre.

Belleisle Country Park Health Walk

This walk lasts 30 minutes and is suitable for all. Most walks are park based and some offer a coastal experience.

Everyone welcome, just come suitably dressed for the conditions. We meet at the front of Belleisle House at 3pm weekly on Wednesdays.

Book and Bun Ayr Health Walk

Join us for a local town and coastal health walk around Ayr. Our walk is open to all and lasts roughly one hour. We meet on Fridays at 1pm at the Book and Bun Café on New Market Street. After the walk we welcome all to join us in the café so you can have a drink. Please note this walks starts on Friday 11th October and is weekly afterwards.

Citadel Walking Group

Weekly on Mondays 10am – 11am. Come join us on these coastal, river and local town walks. Everyone welcome. We meet at 10am at the Citadel Leisure Centre reception, Ayr.

Dementia Friendly Health Walk Prestwick

Our low level walk is open to all. We meet every Monday at 11am. Meeting point is at the end of Grangemuir Road on the seafront next to Prestwick Sailing Club.

Tarbolton Walking Group

The Tarbolton Walking for Health Group takes place every Tuesday at 10am meeting opposite the Tarbolton Gospel Hall on Montgomerie Street in Tarbolton Village.

Walks last roughly 1 hour and venues vary. On the day the group make a decision either to walk locally or drive to another venue. There are normally spare seats in cars for non-drivers.
