I hope you are all looking forward to this year's Prestwick Promenade Celebrations that takes place on Saturday 3rd August.
It's going to be another exciting, fun packed family day!
The Parade starts at Sainsbury's in Prestwick at 1130am, with horses and a motorcade of classic cars and bikes.
Listen out for Samba music from SumWumminDrummin on the open top bus as it drives through Prestwick Main Street on the way to Boydfield Gardens.
There will be a walking parade from Boydfield Gardens down to the Prom and we invite everyone to join in.
For those joining the walking/dancing/marching parade, please be at Boydfield Gardens ready to leave at 12 noon. Remember we're going for a Western Theme this year so don't forget your cowboy/cowgirl hats.
Provost Moonie will open the Prom officially at 1230 where she will also present the Prince and Princess of the Prom.
During the day, music and entertainment will be provided on the main stage, compered by Magic Malky. There will be stalls; horse rides; the much loved Dinosaur Show; Putting; Classic Cars; Motor Bikes; Army vehicles and tasty grub. Malky has lot's more in store for us this year so keep your eyes peeled on our official Facebook page for exciting updates.
For all you Dog lovers there will be a new dog show, which we are really looking forward to.
