We are excited to be launching this year's National Big Fit Walk campaign which will take place on Friday 24th May at 11am starting at St Germain en laye gardens outside County Buildings in Ayr with medal winning athletes Cerys Mcrindle and Jack Dickson leading the walk! Do you enjoy walking or are looking for ways to be more active? Why not come and join us on Friday 24th May at 11am for the National Launch of the Big Fit Walk starting in the St Germain en laye gardens at the front of the County Buildings in Ayr. The Big Fit Walk is free, easy and lots of fun – young, old, fast, slow – it doesn't matter. It's not a race, it's about having fun and staying healthy. Come along for fresh air, a walk and a chat. The walk which will last around 30 minutes will head across the low green taking in the stunning coastline before looping back to the gardens for some fresh fruit and water courtesy of Tesco. Ayr's Big Fit Walk is wheelchair friendly and suitable for all ages and abilities. There is no requirement to pre-register for this event, participants can just turn up on the day.
