Ayr Choral Spring Concert

Where: Ayr Town Hall, New Bridge Street, Ayr KA7 1JX
When: Sunday 29 March 2020 at 7.30pm

Ayr Choral's Spring Concert revives an old friend, Handel's Messiah, first performed by the choir in 1878, and on many significant occasions since. Andrew McTaggart, our Musical Director, is going to have a fresh, exciting and energetic take on this dramatic music for choir and soloists, focussing on the story telling aspect of this much loved musical epic. The choir will be joined by a professional orchestra of some of Scotland's best players, and first rate soloists Catriona Hewitson, Penelope Cousland, Ted Black and Colin Murray.

Cost £: £10 and £14 from Gaiety Box Office, and members
