Draft Social Isolation Strategy 2018-2027

The South Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership have developed a draft Social Isolation Strategy 2018-2027 and we want to hear your views.

Social Isolation can impact at any stage of the life cycle and the draft strategy was developed following public consultation. We agreed the following three key priorities:

  1. Prevent: Raise awareness and prevent people from becoming chronically socially isolated or experiencing loneliness (primary prevention)
  2. Respond: Prevent people from developing chronic social isolation or loneliness. (secondary prevention)
  3. Restore: Prevent those who are chronically lonely and socially isolated from experiencing poor social or health outcomes (tertiary prevention)

We need to hear your views on the draft Social Isolation Strategy, so please complete the short survey. Your feedback will help to inform the final version of the Strategy.

Any information or suggestions you provide will be treated in strict confidence and will be used only for the purposes of developing South Ayrshire’s Social Isolation Strategy.

This consultation closes on Friday 1st February 2019.
