Quality of life survey - Place

The Quality of Life Survey is a survey commissioned by the South Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership and undertaken by South Ayrshire Council.

The purpose of the survey is to establish a reliable set of data recording the views and experiences of South Ayrshire residents on a range of issues.

In the past a single large survey has been conducted but because of a low response rate the Quality of Life Survey will now be conducted using an ongoing series of smaller themed surveys with each individual themed survey open to the public for a few months before closing and opening the next themed survey.

The first themed survey, ‘Place’ which asks your views on South Ayrshire as a place to live has now closed.

Your responses will help to assess the quality of assets as well as identify issues that need improvement.

Analysis of the ‘Place’ survey was undertaken in two ways: by Place theme and by postcode sector/area of respondent’s residence where the postcode sector is known. Results of analysis can be found in either of the two documents or by clicking on either of the two story-map links in the following table.

The next themed survey on ‘Community Safety’ has been put on hold until the current Covid-19 crisis has passed. We would very much appreciate your input to it and all the themed Quality of Life surveys when the survey is opened to the public.
