People looking to secure council housing in South Ayrshire are being asked to help shape the way the process works. Following a series of public events earlier this year we’re now looking for further feedback on the way our systems operate for individuals and families applying for new accommodation.
The Housing (Scotland) Act 2014 introduced a number of changes to the way in which social landlords can allocate houses. South Ayrshire Council is currently reviewing its Housing Allocations Policy, to ensure that its existing stock is used to help meet local housing needs in the most effective way.
