Tai Ji & Mindfulness Classes & Workshops. Tai Ji and Mindfulness Using moving and sitting meditation to find a deeper awareness of ourselves. Tai Ji is a way of moving, a way of being and a way to connect with our true self. By slowing down and paying attention to our body, our feelings and how we express ourselves, we start to open a door to a new relationship with our self. Once we are more Mindful and aware of ourselves and can accept our humanness with true compassion, then real healing begins. Using Mindfulness we can learn to respond creatively and compassionately to people and events in the present moment rather than reacting from a place of fear and frustration. "Keeping your body healthy is an expression of gratitude to the whole cosmos, the trees, the clouds, everything." Thich Nhat Hanh
