Improvements to Sites during 2020/21
The following improvements are being made to our sites over the next 2 years. More information will be released as these are implemented.
A booking system will be introduced for domestic residents driving vans or vehicles with double axles or trailers. These vehicles are often used to carry large loads and can lead to congestion at the sites. A booking system will allow these to be managed better to cause least disruption and also prevent illegal commercial use. More information on when this will be introduced will be available on our website, social media and signs will go up at our sites in advance.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
We want to monitor our sites more closely to ensure they are used properly. Signage will be put in place to alert users that ANPR technology is being used.
Body cameras on site operatives
We want to ensure the safety of the public and our attendants, so body cameras will be used throughout our sites.
