Consultation
Consultation is a key component to assisting in the development of the future plans
of Belleisle. We have already held public meetings, in November of 2012 Ironside
Farrar led an event in Alloway Library in which a number of information boards were
displayed and the public were asked for their thoughts, views and comments.
Consultation Event: Heritage Lottery Parks for People Project
Date: Wednesday 22 May 2013
Venue: Ayr Town Hall, New Bridge Street, Ayr
Drop in exhibition open from 12:30pm to 7:30pm. All welcome to view ideas to revive, regenerate
and reinstate the character of Belleisle Park.
The event will have display boards showing the draft masterplan; draft detail of items such
as the play area, the conservatory, stable block, footpaths. We will also have information
about the Friends of Belleisle and the Belleisle Conservatory Ltd. We are keen to find out
what people think of the draft plans and welcome feedback.
It is a drop in event so if people have a spare 15 minutes at lunch or after work or just while
you are in town please come down – look at the draft plans and tell us what you think.
We welcome people's thoughts and views on the information provided. Please send comments to fiona.ross@south-ayrshire.gov.uk

On-going Consultations
Another key aspect of gathering useful information on how people currently use Belleisle
or would like to use the park is though surveys. Below are links to three surveys
and we would welcome everybody’s participation. All forms are very short and should
take no longer than 7 minutes to complete both.
