Our Easter gymnastics camps will be action packed and will include lots of gymnastics, fun games and suitable for beginners and those with more experience. We absolutely love our camps and seeing the kids that come along, enjoy it as much as we do! Our team of energetic and enthusiastic BG qualified coaches are dedicated to giving each child a great day at Camp

Pre School Gymnastics

Our fun gymnastics programme for pre-school toddlers from walking to 5 years is a first introduction to our gymnastics programme. Sessions aim to develop language and listening skills through action songs and play, help improve hand/eye co-ordination and fine motor skills by using various types of hand apparatus.

Crash Courses Citadel Leisure Centre

£35 per week

- Includes 1 x 30minute lesson per day Monday - Friday

- Award at the end of your course.

Water Confidence Age 4+

This class is aimed at children who lack confidence in the water. Crash courses are a great way to help young children get used to the swimming lesson environment. Getting into the pool without their parent for a first time can be daunting for a small child. By swimming every day they will settle a lot more quickly and be more prepared for their weekly swimming lessons. This class is carried out in the teaching pool at a depth of 0.8m

Water Confidence Advanced Citadel

This class is for children who have built some basics within the water and are now ready to start moving in different directions without water aids. Basic introduction to front-crawl and backcrawl. Perfect for children who have completed crash courses before or are currently in skills 1 level in our learn 2 swim programme.

Improver Crash Course Citadel

This class is aimed at children who are confident in water and can swim unaided on frontcrawl and backcrawl for a minimum of 8 meters. This class will build on current skills and improve technique of all 4 strokes as well as enhance knowledge on water safety. Your child should be in skills 2 or 3 to enter this class. This class is carried out in the flexi pool with a minimum depth of 1.1m.

Introduction to Diving Citadel

This is the first stage of the diving programme where basic diving skills are taught from poolside; including deep water confidence, jumping, rolling, first stages of head first diving & developmental shallow water skills.

Essential Entry Criteria:   

• Children in Primary 1 and above   

• Able to swim 15 metres unaided   

• Comfortable in deep water and tread water for 30s.

• Able to jump and submerge in water without goggles.

A swimming test will be carried out prior to the lesson start time, please ensure your child can meet the above criteria before booking this class. We will not allow any child to participate if they cannot achieve the set criteria.
