OD and HR support

OD has a key role in the development and updating of both the Council and HSCP workforce plans.

Information from services helps ensure these corporate plans are reflective of what is happening within services. Completion of the workforce plan and succession planning templates (or any variation services want to use) should be shared with your OD Advisor.

OD will continue to refine workforce profiles and this toolkit. A key focus in 20/21 will be to bring together the workforce and succession plan templates together into one electronic document.

Your OD Advisor is happy to provide further guidance and support, but services will know best their workforce and succession planning requirements, and can be contacted via the 'contact us' form.

It is also important to link in with your HR Advisor, who can can given guidance on aspects of rectruitment, Oracle structures, contracts and job evaluation. Giving HR sight of completed templates will also allow them opportunity to consider and review any impact that may affect your proposed actions.
