Succession planning part 1 - identifying critical posts

After completing your horizon scan, the next step is to consider what service job roles are critical and why (and as a manager, you should always be considering succession planning for your own role.)

The succession planning template provides a series of key questions and prompts and is designed to provide a starting point to help you document and review requirements.

The overall template can be downloaded, but can be considered in two parts, with Part 1 focusing on what posts might be critical and why, and associated risk.
