Workforce planning - part 1 - workforce profiles
OD arranges workforce profiles annually for services.
The profiles incorporate a range of high-level information (mainly from Oracle).
The profile is an initial overview of the service workforce and is a 'starting point' to allow managers to consider their workforce generally.
The profiles continue to evolve, and OD will add further related information where possible when more data becomes available. (Key information within the profiles can also be accessed directly by managers using the Managers' Oracle Reporting functions.)
The profile is also a useful reference point for 'Workforce planning - part 2 - the template' and as time develops profiles may help services identify relevant themes and trends year-on-year.
It is important that all services 'sense-check' their profiles and contact their OD Advisor for any clarification or amendments.
