Commercial Recycling
South-ayrshire Council can now offer Commercial customers in Ayr, Prestwick and
Troon a trade waste collection for co-mingled recyclable material (Paper, cardboard,
plastic bottles, tins and cans).
This service is offered by the Council at a discounted rate and charged at 20% less
than residual waste collections
Customers wishing this service can choose from:
- Recyclable sack
- 240 Litre blue wheeled bin
- 1100 Litre blue wheeled bin
- 1280 Litre blue wheeled euro bin
The recycling sack is opaque with blue writing to differentiate it from
the normal blue trade waste sacks which would normally be used for residual waste.
This service will now offer sack customers the choice of separating and recycling
their trade waste into the different sacks.
The sacks are sold in rolls of 50.
By Reducing, Reusing and Recycling as much of your trade waste as possible not only
cuts down your costs but reduces the amount of waste that is sent to landfill.
