Alloway
Pretty village to the south of Ayr. Birthplace of Robert Burns,
Scotland's National Poet.
Annbank
Situated inland from Ayr and built in the latter part of the 19th
century as a street of miners' rows extending along a ridge.
Coylton
A few miles north of Ayr lies Coylton, a village with a Gothic
style church dating from 1832.
Dunure
A small picturesque fishing village with a quaint harbour and a
historic ruined castle.
Failford
The village of Failford is situated on the B743 and has a monument
